Nellis AFB 29th Weapons Squadron – Class 14B vintage style canvas art by – Squadron Posters!
The purpose of the 29th WPS is to produce graduate-level instruction in weapons and tactics employment for the C-130 community. It accomplishes this with six-month long training courses, two of which take place every year. These courses provide selected pilots and navigators with what is among the most advanced training in weapons and tactics employment in the world.
Class 14B was the last class to graduate a combined C-130H and C-130J course before the creation of the dedicated C-130H detachment in St. Joe, MO. Class 14B’s culminating event, known as Joint Forcible Entry, earned the USAF Weapons School’s Team of the Year award in 2014.
The class of 14B presents this piece of art to the 29th Weapons Squadron, the USAF Weapons School, and the public to commemorate what was, to us, an unforgettable journey. That being said, we would also like to give special thanks to the cadre of 14B, who made us the Weapons Officers we are today.
