Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 56 (VR-56 / FLELOGSUPPRON FIVE SIX), nicknamed “The Globemasters”, is a transport squadron under Fleet Logistics Support Wing in the United States Navy. It is a reserve unit composed of both active duty and Selected Reserve sailors and is located at NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The squadron maintains Boeing Next-Generation 737-700C aircraft, designated as the C-40A Clipper. The Globemasters take pride in providing world-wide logistics support for military operations and humanitarian missions around the clock, 365 days a year.
