Tinker AFB 960 AACS Jet Black Poster

Tinker AFB 960 AACS Jet Black poster art (Posters Only, No Canvas Wrap Frames or customizing on this page)

Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is home to the 960th Airborne Air Control Squadron, which is part of the 552d Air Control Wing. It uses E-3 Sentry aircraft for airborne command and control missions. It provides airborne systems and personnel to the combat Air Force for surveillance, warning, and control of strategic, tactical, and special mission forces. The E-3 Sentry, also known as an AWACS, is an aircraft that provides airborne early warning and control (AEW&C). It is used by the United States Air Force (USAF), NATO, the Royal Air Force (RAF), the French Air Force, and the Royal Saudi Air Force to provide all-weather surveillance, command, control, and communications. The distinctive rotating radar dome above the fuselage distinguishes the E-3. After 68 aircraft were built, production ended in 1992.
