VAQ-134 was originally commissioned on 7 June 1969 at NAS Alameda, CA as the ‘GARUDAS.’ Now stationed out of NAS Whidbey Island, WA as an expeditionary flying the EA-18G. The Garudas have also flown the EA-3B, EA-6B and have deployed both Carrier based and land based during their history.
