Reno 192 AS MAFFS

Reno 192 AS MAFFS poster art.

The 192nd Airlift Squadron (192 AS) is part of the 152nd Airlift Wing, Reno Air National Guard Base, Nevada. It operates the C-130H3 Hercules aircraft supporting the State of Nevada and the USAF global reach mission world wide. Reno is known as the “Biggest Little City In The World” due to the numerous indoor and outdoor tourist activities in a beautiful and consolidated location. The squadrons of Reno have always been known as the “High Rollers” due to the location near the Casino down-town area. Reno is home to the “Advanced Mountain Airlift Tactics Syllabus”, offering the only formalized Tactics and Safety training course focusing on Performance and Energy Management within Air Mobility Command. The High Rollers have also recently acquired the MAFFS (Modular Airborne Firefighting System) capability which will expand the state and federal mission set for decades to come.
