The “Firehawks” of HSC-85 and the “Red Wolves” of HSC-84 are one of only two squadrons in the U.S. Navy dedicated to supporting Navy SEAL , SWCC Teams, and Combat Search & Rescue. HSC-85 is based at Naval Station North Island, San Deigo, CA and HSC-84 is based at Norfolk Va. Both Squadrons have conducted CSAR training at Nellis AFB Las Vegas NV in support of the 66th Weapons Squadron’s CSAR training for the A-10 Wartohog.
