Keesler AFB 815 TAS

The 815th Airlift Squadron (815 AS) is a unit of the Air Force Reserve Command’s 403d Wing at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. It operates the C-130J Super Hercules providing theater airlift. The 815AS was the first USAF unit to convert to the C-130J Super Hercules. The mission of the 815 AS is to conduct airlift, airdrop, and aeromedical evacuation operations. The squadron name is the “Flying Jennies”. Keesler AFB, established in 1941, is located in Biloxi, Mississippi along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and is less than one hour from New Orleans.
