The 525 Fighter Squadron is an F-22 Raptor unit and part of the 3d Operations Group of the United States Air Force 3d Wing stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. Their Raptors operate throughout the Pacific Region as part of Pacific Air Force Command. In addition, they fly the alert mission protecting the Alaskan ADIZ and routinely “intercept” Russian aircraft. They also routinely deploy to the desert and CENTCOM AOR providing critical fifth generation air dominance capability. Their 5-2-5 squadron mascot is the Bulldogs and they have a living, breathing Bulldog named “Blue” who lives at the squadron and goes wherever they go. Their motto: “Is there a Bulldog in the house?
