This artwork is dedicated to the 2515th Naval Air Ambulance Detachment crews that flew out of Kuwait and Al Basra Iraq. Thank you for your dedicated and selfless service “so others may live”! Established in 2005 and disestablished in 2012, a rotationally supported squadron flying Dustoff in Kuwait and Southern Iraq. This squadron was the first time in U.S. Navy History that a unit was deployed for dedicated MEDEVAC support. Initially staffed by HSC-25 and HS-15, as the squadron stayed in theater the mission was exclusively supported by west coast HSC squadrons.
