Kadena AB 18th Civil Engineer Group
The 18th Civil Engineer Group (18 CEG) is a part of the 18th Wing at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. The “Shogun Engineers” provide world class engineering and emergency response to the 18th Wing, and tenants from all 4 branches of the US military. Additionally, the group is responsible for providing the housing to all Department of Defense families assigned to the island of Okinawa. The CEG is the largest base level Civil Engineer organization in the US Air Force. The mascot is a charging bull, representative of the group’s “Prime BEEF” (Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force) mission.
