The 961 st Airborne Air Control Squadron (961st AACS) is part of the 18th Combat Wing of Okinawa Japan. It operates the E – 3 AWACS supporting both US and JASDF forces in the Pacific Theater. During September 21’, a Training Relocation exercise took place in Hokkaido, Japan where the 961st AACS joined both 67th FS and JASDAF 201st & 203rd. This was the 961st AACS first – ever landing in Chitose and flown every single day without any delay.
