Airborne Command and Control Squadron One One Five (VAW-115) was originally based in Japan but is now based in Point Mugu, California. It primarily operates the E-2 Hawkeye, which provides command and control support to the United States Navy and other branches around the world. Point Mugu is located less than 30 minutes from Malibu, 20 minutes from Ventura, and directly along the famous Pacific Coast Highway. The squadron is known as the “Liberty Bells”.
