The 53rd Test and Evaluation Group, Detachment 2 was part of the 53d Group out of Eglin AFB, Florida. The Det worked with U-2’s and RQ-4’s with a mission to develop, test, and evaluate tactics and sustainable combat capabilities to meet current and future U-2 and RQ-4 requirements at the strategic and tactical level.
