The 44th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron (44 EFS) deployed as part of the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia (PSAB). It operates the twin-engine, twin-tail, supersonic F-15C Eagle, enabling the coalition in CENTCOM to maintain air superiority against any threat. The World’s Greatest Air Superiority Fighter (WGASF) boasts an impressive, uncontested kill to death ratio of 104 to 0. The “The Vampire Bats” hail from Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan.
