Scott AFB C-21 375th AMW

Scott AFB C-21 375th AMW poster art.

The 375th Air Mobility Wing (AMW) is the host wing at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and is part of the larger Air Mobility Command (AMC).  At the operational level the wing provides DV airlift for senior leaders through its fleet of C-21 aircraft and also supports various aeromedical evacuation missions. Scott Field was one of thirty-two Air Service training camps established after the United States entered World War I in April 1917.

The C-21 is a twin turbofan-engine aircraft used for cargo and passenger airlift. The aircraft is the military version of the Lear Jet 35A business jet. In addition to providing cargo and passenger airlift, the aircraft is capable of transporting one litter or five ambulatory patients during aeromedical evacuations.
