The 547th Intelligence Squadron at Nellis AFB, Nevada is assigned to the 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, stationed at Langley AFB, VA. The squadron serves as the USAF’s center for adversary tactics analysis, develops threat relevant training programs, and provides intelligence support to Air Combat Command live-fly exercises and test and evaluation programs. The squadron motto is: “Hit My Smoke!”

The F-15 Eagle is an American twin-engine, all-weather tactical fighter aircraft designed by McDonnell Douglas. Following reviews of proposals, the United States Air Force selected McDonnell Douglas’s design in 1967 to meet the service’s need for a dedicated air superiority fighter.
