The 78th Attack Squadron (78th ATKS) “Bushmasters” has a 100 year history of combat air power and recon dating back to the Army Air Corps and the mighty P-51 Mustang. Currently flying the MQ-9 “Reaper”, the 78th continues the legacy of leading the charge in the modern airspace as the constant protector of US and Coalition forces operating in harms way around the globe.

The 78th Attack Squadron (78 ATKS) is an Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) unit under the 926th Wing, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada and Tenth Air Force (10AF) at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas. The 78 ATKS conducts operations from Creech Air Force Base, Nevada in conjunction with their active-duty associates in the 432d Wing.
The General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper (sometimes called Predator B) is an unmanned aerial vehicle capable of remotely controlled or autonomous flight operations, developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems primarily for the United States Air Force. The MQ-9 is the first “hunter-killer” UAV designed for long-endurance, high-altitude surveillance.
