It's vast array of technical experts support operations at two airfields around the clock, ensuring the mission takes off on time, every time. As the largest OSS in the Air Force, its members provide full-spectrum service, including weather, communications, radar, ATC, aircrew training, flight equipment, intelligence and tactics, ensuring Air Force, Army, and Navy aviators are ready at a moments notice. The 305th OSS is indeed, the bedrock of McGuire &#38; Maxfield airfields, earning its fitting alias, “The Rock!”</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;"><b>Incirlik Air Base </b>is a Turkish air base located in the İncirlik quarter of the city of Adana, Turkey. The United States Air Force and the Turkish Air Force are the primary users of the air base, although it is at times also used by the Royal Air Force and the Royal Saudi Air Force. Also, the base is the home of the 74th Anti-aircraft Artillery Regiment (PatriotUnit) of the Spanish Army. Incirlik Air Base has a U.S. Air Force complement of about five thousand airmen, with several hundred airmen from the Royal Air Force and Turkish Air Force also present, as of late 2002. The primary unit stationed at Incirlik Air Base is the 39th Air Base Wing (39 ABW) of the U.S. Air Force.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The mission of the<strong> 39th Air Base Wing <b>(39 ABW)</b></strong> mission is to support and protect U.S. and <strong>NATO</strong> assets and people throughout Turkey while providing a full spectrum of capabilities to the warfighter. The 39 ABW also supports two geographically separated units. Winning teamwork, strategic location and robust infrastructure combine to ensure the success of Team Incirlik. Close to many of the world's potential trouble spots, Incirlik is an important base in NATO's Southern Region. The <strong>39 ABW</strong> helps protect U.S. and NATO interests in the Southern Region by providing a responsive staging and operational air base ready to project integrated, forward-based air power. <strong>Incirlik Air Base</strong> is located seven miles from Adana, <strong>Turkey</strong>. About 1,500 military members are assigned there.</span></p>
