The 492d Fighter Squadron (492d FS) is part of the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath, England. The 492d FS is a combat-ready F-15E Strike Eagle squadron capable of executing strategic attack, interdiction, and counter air missions in support of U.S. Air Forces in Europe, United States European Command, and NATO operations. The 351st Air Refueling Squadron (351 ARS) is part of the 100th Air Refueling Wing, also known as the “Bloody Hundredth” from WW2 fame, and the basis for the movie ’Twelve O’Clock High”  Stationed at RAF Mildenhall, approx 2 hours from London, the 3-5-1 is USAFE’s only tanker unit and performs Air Refueling and Aeromedical Evacuation missions with US, NATO, and European partners. This vintage style military aviation artwork, the “95th Bomb Group Heritage Poster" is dedicated to all the brave men who served with the 95th Bomb Group during WWII. This poster is also dedicated specifically to a B-17 Bomber aircraft named "Blondie II" (42-30182) and a Pilot named "Joe". Read the amazing story of a teenager who discovered a photograph of a Pilot named "Joe" in a book, and thought that his life story was worth sharing. http://www.apilotnamedjoe.com/  The 95th flew 334 missions between May 14th 1943 and May 25th 1945 and was the first Bomb Group to perform a daylight raid on Berlin. It claimed 425 enemy aircraft destroyed, the highest number by any USAAF Bomb Group in WW2. During World War II the 95th Bombardment Group was a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress unit in England, stationed at RAF Horham. It was the only Eighth Air Force group awarded three Distinguished Unit Citations.

The 351st Air Refueling Squadron (351 ARS) is part of the 100th Air Refueling Wing at RAF Mildenhall, England. It operates the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft conducting aerial refueling missions. Established as a B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombardment squadron in mid-1942; trained initially under Third Air Force in the southeast, then transferring to Second Air Force in the Pacific Northwest. Operated as an Operational Training Unit (OTU) in the Midwest until being deployed to the European Theater of Operations (ETO), being assigned to VIII Bomber Command in England in June 1949. Their motto is: 'Pax Opus Nostrum' meaning 'Peace is our Profession'.

The 95th Reconnaissance Squadron is one of the oldest units in the United States Air Force, first being organized as the 95th Aero Squadron on 20 August 1917 at Kelly Field, Tex. The squadron deployed to France and fought on the Western Front during World War I as a pursuit squadron.  Currently the 95th RS is stationed at RAF Mildenhall, England and is assigned to the 55th Operations Group, Air Combat Command, stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
