<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>485th Intelligence Squadron</strong>, part of the<strong> 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (ISRW)</strong>, is a geographically separated unit located in Wiesbaden, Germany. The squadron is composed of intelligence analysts, transportation and supply personnel, and cyber technicians who maintain a highly sensitive intelligence network spanning three areas of responsibility (AORs) in support of the global intelligence enterprise. They also provide strategic analysis to AFRICOM and EUCOM headquarters in Stuttgart. Situated near the Rhine River and numerous World War II historical sites such as the Maginot Line, the unit’s locations in Wiesbaden and Stuttgart offer proximity to cultural and historical landmarks, including Bavaria and Neuschwanstein Castle. The squadron’s motto is <em><strong>“All In, All The Time,”</strong></em> and they are unofficially known as the<em><strong> “Fighting Gnomes.”</strong></em></span></p>
