The 11th Aerospace Medicine Squadron (11th AMDS) is composed of six flights including Flight Medicine, Public Health, Optometry, Bioenvironmental Engineering, Aerospace Physiology, and the Aeromedical Staging Facility. The Aeromedical Staging Facility reintegrates Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen by providing care for critically injured patients who require stabilization, advanced trauma resuscitation, and surgical intervention prior to transport to a definitive care facility. The Aerospace Physiology Flight has one of only 11 altitude chambers in the Air Force and the only one located in the Northeast region. Highly trained aerospace medics train and equip aircrew and senior leaders on performance enhancement and fatigue management.

The 201st Airlift Squadron (201st AS) is part of the 113th Wing, District of Columbia Air National Guard, based at Joint Base Andrews in Camp Springs, Maryland, minutes from the nation’s capital. It operates the C-40C, a military version of the 737-700 Boeing Business Jet, and provides worldwide executive airlift service to leadership within the Legislative and Executive branches of government, as well as the Department of Defense.

The 89th Aerial Port Squadron (89 APS) provides logistical support to the President, Vice President, and world leaders domestic and foreign. Within the Joint Base Andrews community, the 89 APS performs their mission with the SAM FOX motto of "Excellence In All We Do." The 89 APS, which falls under Air Mobility Command's 89th Airlift Wing, is responsible for supporting all transportation activities in association with aircraft movement to include all dignitaries such as the President, Vice President, heads of state and Department of Defense aircraft. The prestigious mission is a continuous task that the 89 APS members meet with zeal.
