The North American Aviation T-6 Texan is an American single-engined advanced trainer aircraft, which was used to train pilots of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF), United States Air Force (USAF), United States Navy, Royal Air Force, Royal Canadian Air Force and other air forces of the British Commonwealth during World War II and into the 1970s.

The Beechcraft T-6 Texan II is a single-engined, turboprop aircraft currently built by Textron Aviation, formerly manufactured by Raytheon Aircraft Company, which sold to Textron in 2007. It is a license-built Pilatus PC-9, a trainer aircraft. The T-6 replaced the United States Air Force's Cessna T-37B Tweet and the United States Navy's T-34C Turbo Mentor during the 2010s.

The 61st Airlift Squadron (61st AS) is part of the 19th Air Mobility wing at Little Rock AFB Arkansas. The 61st AS is the home of the C-130 and operates all over the world. The squadron's motto is: OTOT "On Target On Time" because that is what they do, and their bread and butter is Combat Airlift. The 61st delivers cargo to the user whether it be via air drop or air-land. Their mascot is the "Green Hornet" and their colors are lime green and yellow. They have been operating since 1942 and have delivered life saving cargo and dropped personnel in every major conflict since WWII. The base sits 20 min outside of Little Rock city, just off the Arkansas River. (see more below)

Vance Air Force Base is a US Air Force base located south of downtown Enid, Oklahoma, within its city limits and north / northwest of Oklahoma City. The base is named after local World War II hero and Medal of Honor recipient, Lt Col Leon Robert Vance Jr. The host unit at Vance is the 71st Flying Training Wing, which is a part of Air Education and Training Command.

This vintage art style Military Heritage aviation travel poster “NAS Whiting Field HT-8, TH-57” is dedicated to all the hard working men and women who serve or have served with Helicopter Training Squadron 8 at NAS Whiting Field. Helicopter Training Squadron EIGHT (HT-8), based aboard Naval Air Station Whiting Field, is the United States Navy's oldest helicopter training squadron, and also bears the honor of being the oldest helicopter squadron in continuous Naval service. For more than sixty three years the squadron’s motto has been "The Best Helicopter Pilots in the World are Trained Here." Its mission is to provide primary and advanced helicopter training for United States Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Allied Student Naval Aviators selected for rotary-wing designation. The squadron's mission is Advanced Helicopter Training. HT-8 flies the TH-57 Bell 206 JetRanger. The 356th Airlift Squadron is part of the 433rd  “Alamo Wing”, and operates out of Kelly Field Annex at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. First constituted in WWII to instruct B-24 aircrew, the 356th is now an Air Force Reserve Formal Training Unit that produces pilot, engineer, and loadmaster specialties to sustain world wide Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy operations. What started as a small outcropping of Spanish missions 300 years ago has become the fastest growing metropolis in the nation.  In 2017, the city trademarked the name “Military City USA” to honor the strong military presence, which was certainly called for during the Battle of the Alamo, where San Antonio became a national beacon of bravery and independence.
