<p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>The <b>36th Fighter Squadron</b> (<b>36 FS</b>)</strong> is part of the 51st Fighter Wing at <strong>Osan Air Base, South Korea</strong>. It operates the <strong>F-16 ‘<em>Fighting Falcon</em>‘</strong> aircraft conducting air superiority missions. Harrumph to the Fiends! <strong>Mission</strong>: Conduct air interdiction, close air support and counter-air missions in both day and night conditions. During its 90-year history, the <strong>36th FS</strong> has flown 21 different types of aircraft, received 22 unit citations and accumulated 24 service and campaign streamers. Formed in World War I, in June of 1917. First Lieutenant Quentin Roosevelt, the son of President Theodore Roosevelt, was one of the squadron’s first commanders. <b>Osan Air Base</b>, is a United States Air Force facility located near Songtan Station in the city of <b>Pyeongtaek</b>, 64 km (40 mi) south of <strong>Seoul</strong>.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;"><b>Osan Air Base</b>, is a <strong>United States Air Force</strong> base located near Songtan Station in the county of <strong>Pyeongtaek, South Korea</strong>, 64 km (40 mi) south of Seoul. Despite its name, <strong>Osan AB</strong> is not within Osan City, which is 7.5 km (4.7 mi) to the north. The base is the home of the Pacific Air Forces' 51st Fighter Wing, and a number of tenant units, including the headquarters for Seventh Air Force. The base is also the headquarters of the ROK Air Force Operations Command.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <b>F-16 Fighting Falcon</b> is a single-engine supersonic multirole fighter aircraft originally developed for the <strong>United States Air Force</strong>. Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. Over 4,500 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <b>33d Rescue Squadron</b> (<b>33 RQS</b>) is part of the U.S. Air Force, 18th Wing at Kadena Air Base, Japan. It operates <strong>HH-60 Pave Hawk</strong> aircraft conducting search and rescue missions. The <strong>33d</strong> has performed <strong>search, rescue, and recovery missions</strong> from 1952–1960, 1961–1970, and since 1971. The squadron flew missions in support of the Vietnam War from 1965–1967. The 33d supported operations following the seizure of the <i>USS Pueblo</i> by North Korea between 29 January and 16 September 1968 and aided search efforts and salvage operations from September–October 1983, after a Soviet fighter aircraft shot down South Korean airliner KAL 007.<sup id="cite_ref-AFHRA_33_RQS_Page_1-0"></sup>    <b>Osan Air Base</b>, is a United States Air Force facility located near Songtan Station in the city of <b>Pyeongtaek</b><b>, </b><b>South Korea</b>, 64 km (40 mi) south of Seoul.
