<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>437th Operations Support Squadron (437 OSS)</strong> provides flying operations support to six airlift squadrons in two wings. Responsible for ensuring wing personnel meet worldwide C-17A airland, airdrop, special operations and classified Department of State support requirements. Directly responsible for airfield management, aircrew flight equipment, flight record management, weather, aircrew scheduling, validating current and future tactical employment, aircrew training, and intelligence support for approximately 1,150 active and reserve aircrew members.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>16th Airlift Squadron</strong> is part of the 437th Air Mobility Wing at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. It operates the C-17A Globemaster III. They are 20 mins away from downtown Charleston that hosts the iconic Ravenel Bridge and a beautiful Charleston skyline dotted with church steeples. They fly Airdrop normally with 3 C-17s and incorporate SOLL II members within our squadron. The min crew on the C-17 is two pilots and one loadmaster. <strong>The 16th’s saying is “Lion Pride”.</strong></span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>17th Airlift Squadron</strong> is part of the 437th Air Mobility Wing at <strong>Joint Base Charleston South Carolina</strong>. It operates <strong>C-17 "<em>Globemaster III"</em></strong> aircraft supporting the United States Air Force global reach mission world wide. The <strong>17th Airlift Squadron</strong> began its existence at Hamilton Field, California in February 1942 as the 17th Air Corps Ferrying Squadron and has since flown a variety of aircraft to include the C-46, C-47, C-54, C-124, C-141 and <strong>C-17</strong>. Though the aircraft and name of the squadron have changed over the years, the job of the <strong>17th AS</strong> has always been air transport.  In <strong>June of 1993</strong> the 17th AS became the <strong>first operational squadron to take delivery of the Boeing/McDonnell Douglas C-17A Globemaster III</strong>.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <b>15th Airlift Squadron</b> (<b>15 AS</b>) is part of the 437th Airlift Wing at<strong> Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina</strong>. It operates <strong>C-17 '<em>Globemaster III</em>'</strong> aircraft supporting the United States Air Force global reach mission world wide.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Activated in December 1940 flying converted Douglas DC-2 transport aircraft as a GHQ Air Force transport squadron. Converted to C-47 Skytrains in early 1942, trained under I Troop Carrier Command for combat operations. Assigned to the Twelfth Air Force and deployed N. Africa during May 1943. The squadron's aircraft flew supplies to front-line units in Algeria and Tunisia during the N. African Campaign as soon as suitable landing strips were available and evacuated casualties back to rear area field hospitals. Nicknamed: <strong>Global Eagles '<em>The Company</em>'!</strong></span></p>
