<p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Operation Christmas Drop</strong> – US Air Force's longest running Humanitarian Mission that helps out over 56 islands in the Marianas (Pacific).  They delivered over 41,000 lbs of goods across all of the islands. </span><span style="color: #000000;"><b>Operation Christmas Drop</b> is a tradition that serves as a training mission for the U.S. Air Force which started in 1952. For more than 70 years, American Airmen have flown over tiny islands in Micronesia around Christmas, dropping donated goods to help more than 30,000 islanders. It has since become the longest running U.S. DoD mission in full operation, and the longest running humanitarian airlift in the world.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">The <b>130th Rescue Squadron (130 RS)</b> is a unit of the California <strong>Air National Guard</strong> <strong>129th Rescue Wing</strong> located at <strong>Moffett Federal Airfield</strong>, Mountain View, California. The 130th is equipped with the <strong>HC-130J Combat King II</strong>. If activated to federal service, the 130 RQS is gained within the <strong>United States Air Force</strong> by the Air Combat Command (ACC).</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">The 129th has performed a wide variety of civilian search and rescue missions, including distressed persons aboard ships, lost or injured hikers, and medical evacuations. The weapon systems that perform these missions are the HC-130J Combat King II aircraft, the HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter and the Guardian Angel pararescue system. The force multiplying capability of aerial refueling the HH-60G from the HC-130J makes these two aircraft an outstanding search and rescue team. Since the 129th RQW's designation as a rescue unit in 1975, Guards men have saved more than1100 lives.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>61st Airlift Squadron (61st AS)</strong> is part of the <strong>19th Air Mobility wing</strong> at <strong>Little Rock AFB</strong> Arkansas. The <strong>61st AS</strong> is the home of the <strong>C-130</strong> and operates all over the world. The squadron's motto is: <strong>OTOT <em>"On Target On Time"</em></strong> because that is what they do, and their bread and butter is<strong> Combat Airlift</strong>. The 61st delivers cargo to the user whether it be via air drop or air-land. Their mascot is the <span style="color: #008000;"><em><strong>"Green Hornet"</strong> </em></span>and their colors are lime green and yellow. They have been operating since 1942 and have delivered life saving cargo and dropped personnel in every major conflict since WWII. The base sits 20 min outside of Little Rock city, just off the Arkansas River. (see more below)</span></p>

The squadron is part of <strong>Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing</strong> and stationed at <strong>MCAS Iwakuni</strong>, Japan. The squadron conducts operations around the Pacific including as part of the <strong>31st Marine Expeditionary Unit</strong> .</span></p>
