<div><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>557th Flying Training Squadron</strong> conducts over 12,600 training and competition hours annually, focused on developing officership, leadership and character of over 4,000 <strong>United States Air Force Academy cadets</strong>. It operates airmanship training at USAF's busiest day, VFR-only airfield to provide the best opportunity for cadet participation in a USAF operational environment, motivating them toward careers as Air Force officers. Currently 600 cadets per year take a motivational flying training course designed to introduce them to an operational USAF flying squadron and provide them an opportunity to solo a light, general aviation aircraft. The <strong>Cadet Flying Team</strong> competes at the regional and national level against 23 other colleges and universities.</span></div>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">Members of the <strong>Silver Eagles</strong> share in the proud legacy of training professional aviators and, more importantly, helping develop officers of character for the <strong>United States Air Force</strong>. With over 16,000 training and competition sorties flown each year, the <strong>Air Force Academy's Cadet Soaring Instructor Pilots</strong> teach fellow cadets the basics of flying and compete in regional and national advanced aerial and cross country competitions at the collegiate, national, and international levels.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <b>TG-10</b> is the military designation for the Blanik sailplanes used for basic flight training at the United States Air Force Academy. The Academy maintains an inventory of 21 TG-10s in three variants. The aircraft are flown by cadets and officers of the 94th Flying Training Squadron, 306th Flying Training Group, Nineteenth Air Force, Air Education and Training Command.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The mission of the <strong>98 FTS</strong> is to provide parachute training to cadets and trains 1,200 students per year. The '<b>Wings of Blue</b>', is the parachuting unit at the <strong>United States Air Force Academy</strong>, near Colorado Springs, Colorado. The team operates as the <strong>98th Flying Training Squadron</strong>, <strong>306th Flying Training Group</strong>, <strong>Air Education and Training Command</strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>Wings of Blue</strong> has been one of the outstanding parachute units in the U.S. and have dominated national intercollegiate parachuting, winning 21 national championships. They perform about 50 demonstrations each year, and have shown off their skills at the BCS National Championship, Orange Bowl,Copper Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, and Pro Bowl and most Air Force Falcons football games. The team travels internationally to perform in air shows and competitions. Their mission: <span style="color: #0000ff;">'<em><strong>Develop airmen through flight in its purest form—STAND IN THE DOOR</strong></em>!'</span></span></p>
