<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>11th Aerospace Medicine Squadron (11th AMDS)</strong> is composed of six flights including Flight Medicine, Public Health, Optometry, Bioenvironmental Engineering, Aerospace Physiology, and the Aeromedical Staging Facility. The Aeromedical Staging Facility reintegrates Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen by providing care for critically injured patients who require stabilization, advanced trauma resuscitation, and surgical intervention prior to transport to a definitive care facility. The Aerospace Physiology Flight has one of only 11 altitude chambers in the Air Force and the only one located in the Northeast region. Highly trained aerospace medics train and equip aircrew and senior leaders on performance enhancement and fatigue management.</span></p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>82nd ADA Washington DC 73d Convention Poster Art.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>82nd Airborne Division Association</strong> was formed out of blood and brotherhood in combat during World War 2. Simply formed by the troopers that wanted to keep the bonds of friendship alive after the war was over as most returned back to civilian life, along with honoring the memory of friends killed liberating Europe. <strong>The Washington DC Chapter</strong> is one of original chapters that formed the basis of the 82D Airborne Division Association. Since 1947, the 82nd Airborne Division Association has held an annual convention in various cities. Washington DC was host to the 1964 Convention honoring the 20th anniversary of Normandy. <strong>The DC Chapter would go on to host the 1975 and 1990 (50th Anniversary of US Army Airborne) Conventions.</strong> The<strong> 73rd Convention</strong> of the 82nd Airborne Division Association will be held in Washington DC.,<strong> August 7-11, 2019</strong> at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel. This historic convention will honor the combat jumps by the 82nd Airborne Division into Normandy and Holland and the 3,228 paratroopers killed in the liberation of Europe.</span><span id="u1845"></span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <span style="color: #0000ff;"><b>457th Airlift Squadron</b> (<b>457 AS</b>)</span> is part of the 375th Air Mobility Wing and is stationed at <strong>Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland</strong>. It operates <strong>C-21</strong> aircraft providing executive airlift to our nation’s military leaders. <span style="color: #0000ff;">This poster artwork commemorates the <strong>75th anniversary </strong>of the founding of the <strong>457th Airlift Squadron (1942-2017)</strong>. </span></span><span style="color: #000000;">Established in mid-<strong>1942</strong> (WWII) under II Bomber Command as a <strong>B-17 Flying Fortress Replacement Training Unit</strong> (RTU). Operated until March 1944 with the end of Heavy Bomber training. Re-designated on 1 April 1944 as a <strong>B-29 Superfortress Very Heavy bombardment squadron</strong>. </span><span style="color: #000000;">When training was completed, it moved to North Field Guam in the Mariana Islands of the Central Pacific Area in January 1945 and assigned to XXI Bomber Command, Twentieth Air Force. Its mission was the strategic bombardment of the Japanese Home Islands and the destruction of its war-making capability. - </span><span style="color: #000000;">During Vietnam, they received their nickname <em><strong>“the Hustlers”</strong></em> flying much need cargo in the C-7 caribou.  Their Motto: <em><strong>"The Wings of Command"</strong></em>. </span><span style="color: #000000;"><b>Joint Base Andrews</b> is a United States military facility located in Prince George's County, <strong>Maryland</strong>. The facility is under the jurisdiction of the United States Air Force 11th Wing, Air Force District of Washington (AFDW). In 2009, <strong>Andrews Air Force Base</strong> and <strong>Naval Air Facility Washington</strong> were merged to form <strong>Joint Base Andrews</strong>. </span><span style="color: #000000;">The <b>Learjet Model 35</b> and <b>Model 36</b> are a series of American multi-role business jets and <strong>military transport aircraft</strong> manufactured by Learjet.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>89th Operations Group <b>(89 OG) </b></strong>is the operational flying component of the <strong><b>United States Air Force, 89th Airlift Wing</b></strong> base at <strong>Joint Base Andrews, Maryland </strong>and operates <strong>C-37A</strong>s, <strong>C-32A</strong>s and<strong> C-40B</strong>s for executive airlift support. The mission of the 89 Operations Group is “Enabling national interests through global transportation for America’s senior leaders... ‘Safe, comfortable, reliable, connected and protected!’”</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Its World War II predecessor unit, the <b>89th Troop Carrier Group</b> was a First Air Force training unit providing transition training for pilots, 1942–1944, then briefly became a replacement training unit (RTU) during 1944 when it was inactivated. It trained in the Air Force Reserve for troop carrier operations, June 1949-May 1951, when it was briefly called into active service in May 1951 to provide personnel to other units during the Korean War. Reactivated in 1952 and trained in the Reserve for Tactical Air Command fighter-bomber operations until being inactivated in 1957.</span></p>

It has seating provisions for 10 passengers and the aircrew consists of a pilot, co-pilot, crewchief, and a communication system operator. </span><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>Sikorsky VH-3D <em>"Sea King"</em></strong> is the primary short-range transport aircraft for the <strong>President</strong>, Vice President, White House cabinet and staff. Operated by Marine Corps aviators from <strong>HMX-1</strong>, the Sea King includes Day/night/all-weather operations. The <b>Bell Boeing V-22 <em>"Osprey"</em></b> is an American multi-mission, tiltrotor military aircraft with both a vertical takeoff and landing <strong>(VTOL)</strong>, and short takeoff and landing <strong>(STOL)</strong> capability. It is designed to combine the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft.</span></p>
