<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>144 Airlift Squadron</strong> <b>(144 AS) </b>is part of the 176 Air Wing at <strong>Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska</strong>.  It operates <strong>C-130H Hercules</strong> in the <strong>Alaska Air National Guard</strong> and the <strong>United States Air Force</strong> global reach mission world wide.  The Alaska Air National Guard was formed in 1952, well before Alaska became a state in 1959.  The <strong>144 AS</strong> is the is the oldest squadron in the AK ANG.  The squadron name is: <span style="color: #008000;"><em><strong>“The Wolf Pack”!</strong></em></span></span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">This <strong>C-12 Huron</strong> poster is dedicated to the hard working men and women of, <strong>Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska</strong>. The The <b>C-12 Huron</b> is the military designation for a series of twin-engine turboprop aircraft based on the <strong>Beechcraft Super King Air </strong>and<strong> Beechcraft 1900</strong>. These aircraft are used for various duties, including embassy support, medical evacuation, as well as passenger and light cargo transport. </span><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>517th Airlift Squadron</strong> provides tactical airlift operating C-17 and <strong>C-12F</strong> aircraft. Supporting worldwide airlift, airdrop, airland requirements while providing airlift for theater deployed forces and resupply of remote Alaskan long-range radar sites in support of PACOM, NORAD, and TRANSCOM. Provides aircrew qualification training for the <strong>U.S. Air Force</strong>.<br />
