The 52d Operations Support Squadron Airfield Operations Flight, also known as Airfield Ops, is part of the 52d Operations Support Squadron, 52d Operations Group, 52d Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem AB, Germany. The 52d Logistics Readiness Squadron (52 LRS) supports the wing, GSUs and AMC partners as a single source for logistics operations support, and leads the wings mobility machine, ensuring timely and accurate deployment of personnel and equipment. Additionally, LRS is responsible for the commercial movement and storage of personal property and provides ticketing for PCS, TDY and emergency leaves for DoD passengers; ensures quality petroleum and cryogenics products are acquired/produced/issued safely and efficiently to using organizations and executes vehicle maintenance, management and operation of more than 875 vehicles.

The 726th Air Mobility Squadron (726 AMS) is located at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. It is one of 10 units in the 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing headquartered at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The 726 AMS provides premier C-5 and C-17 enroute maintenance and aerial port functions for over 1,000 missions, transporting 15,000 passengers and delivering 30,000 tons of cargo to 5 Combatant Commanders in Europe, Africa, and Central Asia annually. Spangdahlem is nestled in the picturesque German Mosel wine-country just 26 miles from Luxembourg and 46 miles from Belgium and only a 30-minute drive away from the 2000-year old city of Trier. As host of the Airlift/Tanker Association (A/TA) Halvorsen chapter, the unit also has a proud legacy deep-seated in history, as Colonel Gail Halvorsen is known for his key role during the Berlin Airlift in 1948. He flew relief missions in a C-54 Skymaster and became the famous Candy Bomber, when he fashioned individual candy airdrops to German children building morale for the unit, Americans back home,and more than 2 million innocent civilians on the ground.

Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, also known as Truax Field, is a naval base located six miles southeast of the central business district of Corpus Christi, in Nueces County, Texas. The Beechcraft King Air family is part of a line of utility aircraft produced by Beechcraft. The King Air line comprises a number of twin-turboprop models that have been divided into two families; the Model 90 and 100 series developed in the 1960s are known as King Airs, while the later T-tail Model 200 and 300 series were originally marketed as Super King Airs, with "Super" being dropped by Beechcraft in 1996 (although it is still often used to differentiate the 200 and 300 series King Airs from their smaller stablemates). The TC-12B, a military variant of the Beechcraft 200 Super King Air, was used by the U.S. Navy for multi-engine pilot training at NAS Corpus Christi.
