Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 502 (VMFAT-502) is a United States Marine Corps fighter attack training squadron flying the F-35 Lightning II. The VMFAT-502 “Flying Nightmares” are stationed at MCAS Miramar, CA. They fly the F-35B variant and support pilot and maintainer training. Their moto is: "Carpe Noctem” meaning “Seize the night”!

The 513th Electronic Warfare Squadron (513th EWS) is a U.S. Air Force unit assigned to the 53d Electronic Warfare Group, located at Eglin AFB, FL, minutes from the Destin Pass. The 513th EWS heritage comes from the 513th Bombardment Sq activated during WWII. - "Born in battle", the 513th Electronic Warfare Squadron develops and fields combat credible mission data for the U.S. F-35 warfighter fleet worldwide. Eglin Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located approximately 3 miles southwest of Valparaiso, Florida. The host unit is the 96th Test Wing (formerly the 96th Air Base Wing). 
The 33d Fighter Wing is a USAF unit assigned to the Air Education and Training Command's Nineteenth Air Force stationed at Eglin, where it is a tenant unit. The 33 FW is an AETC training unit. Its main mission is to train U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Navy pilots and maintainers on the F-35 'Lightning II'. The Lockheed Martin F-35 is a family of single-seat, single-engine, fifth-generation multirole fighters under development to perform ground attack, reconnaissance, and air defense missions with stealth capability.
