A-CO 1-111th is a UH-60 A/L Blackhawk company located on McEntire Joint National Guard Base (JNGB) in Eastover, South Carolina. Our primary missions include general support, fire fighting, natural disaster rescue, and medical evacuation. The South Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (SC HART) also operates out of McEntire JNGB and serves as a hybrid team of military and civilian members who specialize in Aviation Rescue.

It provides Operational Test for the Guardian Angel Weapon System, HC-130J Combat King II, HH-60G Pavehawk, and HH-60W Jolly Green II. In combination with Det 1, 413th FLTS they comprise the Combat Search and Rescue Combined Test Force (CSAR CTF) responsible for Developmental and Operational Test of all USAF CSAR assets
