They integrate seamlessly to provide critical services in Airfield Operations, Air traffic control, Weather, Aircrew Flight Equipment, and Aerospace Physiology, ensuring the safe and effective training of the next generation of NATOs fighter pilots.

This 80th Flying Training Wing (80 FTW), 6 Texan II Lithograph is a part of our signature “JET BLACK” series. Our artists have designed this series to look best on our floating framed canvas wraps. The 80th Flying Training Wing operates the Air Force’s second busiest joint-use airfield outside of a combat zone. Its 202 aircraft flew approximately 240 sorties per day in 2013, which equates to over 66,000 flight hours annually. The wing delivers over 200 Undergraduate Pilot Training graduates annually, along with 150 graduates of Introduction to Fighter fundamentals and 75 Pilot Instructor Training graduates. 13 NATO countries participate in the unique Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program.

The 80 Operations Support Squadron is composed of five flights, including the Aircrew Flight Equipment Flight; RADAR, Airfield, and Weather Systems Flight; Weather Flight; Airfield Operations Flight; and the Student Training Flight. The squadron has over 170 permanent party personnel and oversees all student pilots in training. The 80 OSS is the largest Squadron in the 80 FTW, and continues to provide premier support to the ENJJPT Mission.
