The 3d Operations Support Squadron (3d OSS) is apart of the 3rd Wing at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER), Alaska. They are a very large and diverse Squadron with 225 assigned Airmen Enabling arctic operations on Elmendorf Airfield for 16 different flying units who operate more than 30 different aircraft types. Located at 61N near Anchorage, Alaska, their mascot is the Arctic Grey Wolf and their motto is “Send in the Wolf!”

The 3rd Operations Group is stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. They fly the F-22 with two SQs, 525 FS and 90 FS, E-3 with 962 AACS, C-17 and C-12 with the 517 AS. Their support Squadron taking care of the airfield is the 3 OSS represented by wolves. They fly around gorgeous AK viewing Denali and northern lights.
