It operates <strong>Navy T-6Bs</strong> to develop experimental training syllabi and methodology for the entire undergraduate pilot training enterprise. The <strong>19 AF</strong> is an active Numbered Air Force of the <strong>United States Air Force</strong>. The<strong> Air Education and Training Command (AETC)</strong>, with headquarters at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, was established and activated in January 1942, making it the oldest major command in the Air Force.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">The <strong>559th Flying Training Squadron</strong> <strong>(559th FTS)</strong> operates the <strong>T - 6 Texan II</strong> as part of the <strong>12th Flying Training Wing</strong> at <strong>Randolph AFB</strong>. The 559th has flown a variety of aircraft since its activation in 1941, including the B-18, B-25, A-26, F-84m F-4 II, T-37, and T-6. The  mission would be impossible to complete without the assistance of the 39th FTS, the total force integration with the AF Reserves.</span></p>
