Headquarters, District of Columbia Air National Guard’s (DCANG) mission is to support and defend the National Capital Region, its citizens and the nation by maintaining ready, trained and equipped military forces, and to support the District of Columbia during special security events, natural disasters, and other contingency operations. The DCANG is headquartered at the District of Columbia Armory.
