The 502d Security Forces Group (502 SFG) is apart of the 502d Air Base Wing at Joint base San Antonio (JBSA), Texas. The 502 SFG is comprised of the 502 SFS at JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, 802 SFS at JBSA - Lackland, and 902 SFS at JBSA - Randolph. The 502 ABW supports 267 mission partners across 11 operating locations nestle in San Antonio, Texas the 7 th largest city in the United States. Primary mission of the 502 SFG is to protect and defend key Air Education & Training missions such as Air Force Basic Military Training, The Air Force Personnel Center, and Brooke Army Medical Center.
