<p><span style="color: #000000;"><b>Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron 3</b> (<strong>VQ-3)</strong>  is presently one of two operational squadrons attached to the<strong> USN 1st Strategic Communications Wing</strong> stationed at <strong>Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.  <em>"STRATCOPMWINGONE"</em></strong> is the present incarnation of the <em><strong>"Looking Glass"</strong></em> USAF and long lived USN <em><strong>"Tacamo survivable WWABNRES"</strong></em> of the past 60+ years. During the 1980’s VQ-3 operated the Lockheed <strong>EC-130Q</strong> out of <strong>NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii</strong> as the USS Ohio class SSBN’s with Trident SLBM’s came into service. It, along with the their sister squadron (VQ-4 out of NAS Pax River), moved to Tinker along with the operationalization of the Boeing <span style="color: #0000ff;"><a style="color: #0000ff;" href="http://www.squadronposters.com/product-category/aircraft-posters/reconnaissance/e-6-mercury/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>E-6 Mercury</strong></a></span>.</span></p>
