Yokota AB, 374th Operations Support Squadron

Yokota AB, 374th Operations Support Squadron vintage style poster art.

The 374th Operations Support Squadron (OSS) is part of the 374th Operations Group, 374th Airlift Wing at  Yokota Air Base, Japan.  The unit enables and executes Rapid Global Mobility by operating the Yokota AB airfield and airspace complex, and providing direct support to all flying operations.  Their airfield is a major weapon system.  Management of the airfield’s infrastructure and air traffic control and landing systems enable the U.S. to swiftly project airpower in the Pacific. Air traffic and radar control, weather services, intelligence, aviation resource management, aircrew flight equipment, joint airdrop inspection, Survival-Evasion-Resistance-Escape training, and mission scheduling provide critical support to local and transient flying operations. Yokota Air Base is a United States Air Force base in the city of Fussa, one of 26 cities in the Tama Area, or Western Tokyo.
