Fort Meade 70th Operations Support Squadron

The 70th Operations Support Squadron (70 OSS), also known as the “Knight Stalkers”. Their mission is to strengthen the 70th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing (70 ISRW) cryptologic and Intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations by optimizing capabilities and developing combat mission-ready Airmen equipped to execute full-spectrum worldwide cryptologic operations. The 70 OSS was activated on 1 May 2005 under the 70th Operations Group and transitioned to the 70th Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing on 14 January 2009 to oversee 30 of the 70 ISR Wing core cryptologic intelligence programs for six ISR Groups and 19 Squadrons. Additionally, the 70 OSS manages the Wing Operations Center, Wing Reserve Management Office and the DIRNSA Enlisted Internship Programs. The 70 OSS is the enabling force behind the 70 ISRW operational mission to train and equip cryptologic and information operations specialists to carry out 25 AF and National Security Agency Tri-Service Operations. – “Fight’s On!”
