72nd Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron (72nd EASOS) is part of the 368 Expeditionary Air Support Operations Group. The 72nd EASOS is a Tactical Air Control Party Squadron providing deployed Army divisions with Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) who act as a gateway for the Ground Forces Commander and Air Force attack aircraft. The 72nd EASOS provides terminal control to neutralize hostile threats that the Army cannot neutralize itself. Their Squadron call sign is “Mischief”
