This “Atsugi Japan VF-154, F-14 Tomcat” vintage style military aviation Heritage Poster is dedicated to all those who served with Strike Fighter Squadron 154 in Atsugi, Japan with the F-14 TomcatStrike Fighter Squadron 154 (VFA-154), also known as the “Black Knights”, is a United States Navy strike fighter squadron stationed at Naval Air Station Lemoore. The Black Knights are an operational fleet squadron currently flying the F/A-18F Super Hornet, attached to Carrier Air Wing Eleven and deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68). Their tailcode is NH and their call sign is “Knight”. F-14 heritage: From August 1991 to September 2003 VF-154 was the first forward deployed F-14 squadron in Atsugi, Japan with CVW-5. They deployed on the USS Independence and USS Kitty Hawk to the Western Pacific and in support of Operations Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom. The Black Knights left Atsugi for the last time  in 2003 and ended their proud 13 years in Japan and 20 years in the Tomcat.
