This vintage style U.S. Navy squadron poster “VAQ-141, EA-18G, NAF Atsugi” is in honor of the hard working “Outlaws” who serve or have served with Electronic Attack Squadron ONE FOUR ONE (VAQ-141) and those who operate, maintain and support the E/A-18G Growler. VAQ-141 is a U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler squadron. The “Shadowhawks” are based at Naval Air Station Atsugi, Japan and fall under the command of Carrier Air Wing FIVE (CVW-5) and the U.S. Seventh Fleet. Their mission is to support CVW-5 and USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) by providing electronic attack and a wide range of enemy defense suppression missions, day or night, under all weather conditions. NAF Atsugi, the largest Navy air base in the Pacifc, is located on the outskirts of the Tokyo Metropolis and is shared by CVW-5, Headquarters Fleet Air Force, Fleet Air Wing 4, and the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force. The EA-18G Growler is an American carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft, a specialized version of the two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet.
