Travis AFB 821st Contingency Response Squadron

Travis AFB 821st Contingency Response Squadron art by – Squadron Posters!

The 821st Contingency Response Squadron is part of the 621st Contingency Response Wing at Travis AFB, CA.  Their mission is to provide highly qualified, adaptable airmen who are ready to deploy globally within 12 hours of notification to support transitory mobility requirements, increasing the response options of Air Mobility Command, the United States Secretary of Defense, and the US Government. Travis AFB is located in northern California. The Unit stood-up in June 2015, and their squadron mascot is the “Hellhounds”.

Art feature: Half Dome is a granite dome at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, California. It is a well-known rock formation in the park, named for its distinct shape. One side is a sheer face while the other three sides are smooth and round, making it appear like a dome cut in half. The granite crest rises more than 4,737 ft (1,444 m) above the valley floor.
