Hulman Field Air National Guard Base, 181st ISRG

The 181st Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group (181st ISRG) is part of the 181st Intelligence Wing (IW) at Hulman Field, Indiana. It is apart the Air Force’s primary intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) planning and direction, collection, processing and exploitation, analysis and dissemination (PCPAD) weapon system. The weapon system employs a global communications architecture that connects multiple intelligence platforms and sensors. Hulman Field is located one hour southwest of Indianapolis and the 181st IW is named the “RACERS”. The 181st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISRG) is equipped with the AN/GSQ-272 Sentinel Distributed Common Ground System.

The 181st Intelligence Wing (181 IW) is a unit of the Indiana Air National Guard, stationed at Terre Haute Air National Guard Base, Indiana. If activated to federal service, the Wing is gained by the United States Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency.

Terre Haute Regional Airport is a civil-military public airport six miles east of Terre Haute, in Vigo County, Indiana. The FAA’s National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a general aviation facility. It is also the location of Hulman Field Air National Guard Base of the Indiana Air National Guard.
