The 6th Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment is headquartered at Los Alamitos, California. Elements of the Battalion are also based at Fort Knox KY, (Bravo, depicted in this artwork) and Fort Hood, Texas (2nd Platoon, “C” Company). The Battalion flies a mix of C-12 twin-engine turboprop and UC-35 jet aircraft.  6-52nd Supports JOSAC mission requests for VIP transport.

Godman Army Airfield is a military airport located on the Fort Knox United States Army post in Hardin County, Kentucky. It has four runways and is used entirely by the United States Army Aviation Branch. Godman Army Airfield was established about October 1918 for the 29th Aero Squadron for World War I at then Camp Knox United States Army Air Corps.

The C-12 Huron is the military designation for a series of twin-engine turboprop aircraft based on the Beechcraft Super King Air and Beechcraft 1900. C-12 variants are used by the US Air Force, Army, Naval/Marine’s. These aircraft are used for various duties, including embassy support, medical evacuation, as well as passenger and light cargo transport. Some aircraft are modified with surveillance systems for various missions, including the Cefly LancerGuardrail and Project Liberty programs.
